Missionary Retreat in Homer

Missionary Retreat in Homer

God is doing amazing things at Arctic Barnabas Ministries!

Almost 13 years ago God called Bill and Susan Wilkinson to Alaska to partner with Arctic Barnabas Ministries and have a place for pastor and missionary families serving in remote Alaska to come to rest and renew. Over 1,100 people have been guests in their home in Homer, Alaska, during that time.

Last year Arctic Barnabas received the donation of a beautiful property in Homer overlooking Kachemak Bay. The vision of that donation was that this ABM retreat ministry will continue well beyond when Bill and Susan are gone. In 2025 the ABM board approved the building of a Homer Missionary Retreat on that land and fundraising began, and God has already raised over $274,000 of our goal of $500,000.

We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home planned, as seen in the photo above, with a beautiful view of Kachemak Bay for families to refresh and be encouraged. A contractor has been appointed, and plans purchased. We are planning to break ground in May 2026!

Would you prayerfully consider joining us as a partner to make sure pastor and missionary families serving in remote villages of Alaska will have a place to come, be encouraged and refresh for decades to come?
